Please Join Us at Our Next PTA Member Meeting, Friday 1/27 at 10am, Bungalow 41

We will meet immediately following the Spirit Assembly (which is at 9am), and there will be coffee and pastries.  (Bungalow 41 is located towards the back of the school, in the row of rooms across from the track.  We’re the second one from the end, and - weather permitting - we’ll have the door open.)  We look forward to seeing you there!

We will be selecting our Nominating Committee.  This is a small group of PTA members who determine the leadership of next year’s PTA.  If you know a lot of people or just want to get more involved in PTA, this is a great role for you.  It’s for a limited duration (just two months) and doesn’t involve a lot of time.  It can be done from home or at school or via email!  We hope you will consider joining the Nominating Committee (if you weren’t on it last year), or – if you have suggestions for who should be on it – make sure they come!

If you want to be on our PTA Board next year, please let us know!  We will need a President, Secretary, Treasurer, Programs/Ways and Means Coordinator (aka Vice President), Auditor, Parliamentarian, Historian, and Membership Chair.  Email President@sspta.org or speak with any board member or regular volunteer (you know who we are!) to share your interest with the Nominating Committee.  We want you!

We will also be planning for Spring events:  our Sweetheart Breakfast, the Book Fair and Read Across America Night (and Book Swap), our jog-a-thon fundraiser, the Carnival, and maybe even next year’s Mustang Round-Up.  We would love to have your ideas, so please come ready to share them!
